Air Car

Ok, who else thinks this is great? A car running on compressed air that will go for 200-300km and costs 1/10 the amount of gas. If there isn't a local car air compressor refill station it takes 3-4 hours off of 220V electricity. If there is a local compressor station, it takes minutes. The article makes it sound like this is actually going into real production soon.

The best part is the price of 5,500 pounds. Although looking at the wikipedia article, it seems this company has been saying they are near production for a while.

Now they just need to hire the toy airplane company to do marketing for them in the US. Air hawg? Air dawg? Something like that.

Oh...now we have to come up with a clean way to generate electricity to compress the air to run the cars....
